About Chelsea

The most important item in my kitchen is the well of salt sitting next to my stove. Salt is the key to excellent cooking. From the very beginning of the recipe to the finishing flakes, a well-cooked meal is carefully seasoned at every step in the process. 

My well of salt also represents the communal nature of my kitchen. To me, there’s nothing more special than inviting friends over, preparing a meal, pouring wine, and sitting down to a lovely table. My favorite part? Passing around the salt well as each guest adds the final pinch to perfectly suit their own taste. 

The years of experience hosting in my own home inspired me to create The Salt Well, the opportunity to bring that same delicious and communal experience into your home.
